Native Americana by Fiske
I usually do not collect ETHNIC but the clarity of  these real photos by Fiske (photographer) led me to put them under a photo category of my own.  All but the Sitting Bull photo, which is not shown, are taken from his own negatives.  He took over the photo studio on the reservation in the early years after Sitting Bull was already gone and used an old glass negative to make his photo of him.

Note: (The necklace on Rain-in-the Face goes without words!)

spac100.gif (98 bytes) These cards were all done toward his later years (EKC stamp box 1930-1950) for the Plumes store in New York City.  I am still in the process of looking up this store so certainly anyone is welcome to email me.  I will put up your cards, if you have any, and give you credit for identifying them more precisely.
spac100.gif (98 bytes) I have two others:   a photo of Sitting Bull from glass negative; tear in glass mild; no damage to postcard, and Sioux in Review, Standing Rock Fair,

This last is marked twice as Fiske photo and made for the New York City Store.

These were all found in one location so I might have 'overlooked' others. I am interested in buying any others that might exist.
