	GL503-A very early set by artist, Jack Abeille, that has a woman poised in each card with a bouquet.  Here we have "Boule Le Neige." Unused, undivided back, EX $150.00
	GL414-A woman and a pierrot walked along a snow-covered path.  Art Deco style, incomplete cancel; overall VG+ $45.00
	GL413-Corbella draws a very Art Deco lady in front of an ornate curtain and rug.  Strong drawing with busy but controlled elements.  Un, EX $65.00
	GL256-Art Deco teams up with an Egyptian motif in this highly stylized image of a woman reclining on a lounge with bared breasts.  The artwork is signed in upper right corner.  The drawing has the look of the stenciled and hand-colored work sometimes found in this period. Back of card is labeled "Aquarella."  Actual card looks much better than scan because the gold of her hair and the fabric of the lounge is softly reflective.  Un, EX $65.00

	GL252-This card differs from many sets by X. Sager in that the image is surrounded by an elaborate border.  The theme, not too surprisingly, deals with the suggestive.  A couple is being held up in the Bois de Boulogne.   This park was (and is) notorious for all kinds of exotic, if not illegal behavior, at night. Un, one tiny superficial pinch (very minor) near upper left side; overall EX $45.00
	GL253-This card, like the one above, is from an uncommon set by X. Sager with a wide border showing men and women in silhouette.  The inner image shows older men carrying on with younger women (Le Vieux noceur) around the corner from the Moulin Rouge.  Un, near Mint $50.00
	GL245-A woman in vibrantly colored dress sits before a gold backdrop.  An abstract bouquet of flowers fills the lower left corner.   This strong Art Deco-style design was done by the noted Italian artist, Busi.    Un, EX $40.00
	GL248-This attractive highly-stylized design shows a couple meeting in the woods.  If you look at just the trees you can see that the surface suggests something that is melting down rather than growing up!  Signed by the artist in the lower left corner.  Un, EX $45.00
	GL237-This lovely Art Deco image features a romantic couple on a hillside.  The pink clouds billowing across a blue sky give the whole image a magic touch.  Done by Italian artist, Corbella.  Printed in Italy.   Un, near Mint $35.00
	GL238-A well-known Italian artist, Busi,  did this distinctive Art Deco image of a woman about to be courted by a gentleman who stands behind a window with a bouquet of roses.  I love the way the blue dress billows out across the entire bottom of the card.  Printed in Italy.  Un,  near Mint $35.00
	GL225-Among postcard images that feature women with flowers the set done by Italian artist Guerzoni are among the most arresting.  The woman in this image is almost overwhelmed by the super-sized flowers.   Each card in the set plays on this theme.  Very difficult to find.  Un, EX $75.00.
	GL501-Another postcard from the set done by Italian artist, Guerizoni.  In this card the woman is looking through a giant spray of yellow flowers.  An azalea bouquet appears below. Un, EX+ $75.00
	GL502-Underneath some mistletoe a pierrot leans forward to kiss a woman. Signed by Sager.  From an early Tuck set printed in Paris.  Un, EX $75.00
	GL236-Xavier Sager is one of the very highly regarded illustrators of the early years of postcards.  Some of his cards are more eye-appealing than others though.  This New Year card with a woman reviving a swooning (perhaps drunk if we note the opened bottle) Pierrot has a good strong design and color. Scarce Tuck Company card with French back.  Printed on nice paper and hand-colored. Un, near Mint $75.00
	GL239-This card is from a set that shows different close-ups of a woman's legs.  The series is titled, "Histoire d'une paire de jambes," and the artist is Leon Fontan.  It is quite difficult to find, and it is also quite a different concept...I can't think of another set quite like it as it has a 'pin-up' quality which would become popular later.  Un, near MINT $50.00
	GL219-Mermaids are always a popular topic on postcards.  This sensuous image would make one of the better cards in such a collection.  The artwork is by Raphael Kirchner. This card is from the "Glamour Age" which dates in the 1910-1916 timeframe.  Un, EX $125.00
	GL220-A vibrant and scarce Easter greeting drawn by well-known Art Deco artist, Chiostri.   Image features an exotic black servant offering a tray of Easter eggs to a pampered woman.  Published by Ballerini & Fratini of Italy.  Un, EX $250.00
	GL216-This striking postcard shows a very tall elegant woman in conversation with a jockey.  The drawing accomplishes good effect with a sparing use of line and detail.  The artist is Hans Rudi Erdt and card was printed in Germany.  Un, EX $125.00
	GL223-There isn't a wasted line in this sophisticated drawing by Austrian artist, Gustav Marisch.   Published in Italy.  The black/cream drawing is finished off with a thin gold border.  Un, EX $35.00
	GL209-The profile of a lovely woman is enclosed in an artist's palette and then enclosed in an Art Nouveau style border with a water lily motif.  Card is a chromolitho.  Early undivided back.  PU, EX $20.00
	GL196-Although this card is signed by the Italian illustrator, Chiostri, it would be easily recognized as his work even if it were not! A black-suited Pierrot strums a mandolin.  Published by Ballerine & Fratini of Italy.  Un, EX $75.00
	GL153-A poster-style portrait of a woman by an artist named Eisen. Very different looking; can't remember ever seeing others from this set.  PU, date not readable, light corner rounding; overall VG+ $30.00
	GL176-This Pierrot postcard has a spare but effective variation on the 'party' theme often used with such images: celebratory spirals  fill the upper background. The neck ruffles seem to echo the design. Unsigned but very well done.  Gold trim around border.  Printed in Italy.  Un, EX $75.00
	GL187-Lots of white space to emphasize the colorful circle with Pierrot and his lady-love.   Signed by D. Gobbi. Printed in Italy.  Un, there is a piece (1 in.) of scotch tape on reverse that has yellowed.  Was not used to repair anything...why it is there a mystery; front of card is EX $40.00
