nv157sm.jpg (2534 bytes) NV157-For a large producer of quality postcards the P.F.B. Company did very few 'novelty' items.  This particular card has real hair applied to a comic image of a romantic couple.  The thickness of the hair on both the woman and man and the fact that both are 'styled' precisely is exactly what you would expect from this company.  Card is marked as series 6310.  I have two others from set at moment as they all came out of same collection.  Un, EX-near Mint

nv148sm.jpg (2140 bytes) NV148-The intricate details on many old 'woven silk' postcards is amazing.  This romantic image features a couple fleeing a danger of some sort.  The animal skin wrapped around the male points to some mythological tale.  I believe the original artwork is at the Met.  Issued in France.
